The Bachelor of Science (Home Science) degree examination of this University or an examination of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto.
For being eligible for admission to the Master of Science (Home Science) degree course by papers in the Branch of Foods, Nutrition and Dieterics, a candidate must have passed the three year Bachelor of Science degree examination of this University or of another university with the following combination of subjects viz., Chemistry (Five Units) or Microbiology (Five Units) and Biochemistry.
Holders of the Bachelor of Arts degree with specialisation in the subjects of Psychology and Sociology as Principal/Major subjects and holders of the Bachelor of Social Work degree of this University or of another University will be considered for admission to the Master of Science (Home Science) course by papers in the branch of ‘Child development and Family Relations’ on the merits of each individual case.
